Hated the ending.

I used to watch this in the early 90s as a kid. It came on late at night on networks like TBS and TNT, and I would stay up to catch showings of it during Summer when I was free from school. I've always loved this movie and it's second in my heart only to the original Dawn of the Dead.

I saw this in a Korean cinema when it was first released - massively packed theatre! And rightly so. This remains an absolute fantastic Zombie film! In fact, there are few better. In my opinion, this is a better, or at least a far more watchable film than the original. It's absolutely captivating and harrowing. I truly love how this film begins.

My sister took me to the drive in that was located in Jonesboro AR to see the 78 version of the Dawn of the Dead. In 1984 her son came to spend a week with me and we rented the original Dawn of the Dead and had such a good time. We called his mom and told her we rented it and she asked did her son like it and he said yes and I have to tell you it was so cool for you to take your little brother to see it and now he and I saw it. You and he are just cool people. My sister and I just laughed.

This movie was great! James Gunn and Zack Snyder did a fantastic job!

I saw this movie at a local theatre when its first weekend of release. I have to say, along with 28 Weeks Later, this was one of the great zombie movies I've seen.

I had no clue Zack Snyders was directing this movie. It explains a lot now. It’s one of my favorite zombie movies.

EXCELLENT COMMENTARY! Almost perfect in all details, except… the rain you all see in the movie was created by RAIN TRUCKS. Not by natural occurring dew drops but by four or five teamsters in control of the on and off switch to each rain truck strategically placed in various sections around camera and at various set locations. James witnessed we punks, getting doused in hard rain for hours each day, and thought, “eh, not for me” 😂😂 and true, true, did convince Dan out of his idea of soaking Jimmy’s character to zombie heaven.

Shaun of the dead is my favorite zombie film !! Hands down cult classics & dawn of the dead is like left 4 dead live action <3

pretty sure eastern cemetery in Louisville Kentucky wasn't used for any shots in the movie. I've been there many times and I'm not familiar with any part of the cemetery being used in the film.

I was born 1967....which maybe makes me irrelevant immediately in your eyes....oh well never mind, I only wanted to say something about years, which pass inevitably and unstoppable. But everyone knows that....🎉

I like the slowness of the 50s era zombies better. It was the inertia and related unavoidability that sent shivers through my spine. The modern day "100m dash"-zombies are more of a parody.
